Warehousing

OSCI offers comprehensive and cost effective 3rd party local warehousing and distribution services and solutions to support all of your logistical needs. Specifically, we can provide local warehousing, distribution, freight transportation and hotel logistics, final mile delivery, installation, and project management needs. OSCI works with local warehousing companies close to your project.

Construction

Pre-construction, Value Engineering, Construction Bidding / Negotiation, General Construction / Project Management, Construction Management, Liquidation, Installation, Quality Control, Client Service & Warranty Programs and other services especially for hotel and resort renovation and construction. Onsite Management and review of construction drawings and specifications with inspections and progress meetings with contractors, architects, and owners to ensure the project meets specifications and brand requirements.

Logistics

OSCI Logistics team helps to ensure that your hotel or business project is done on time, on budget, and to your satisfaction. Our team works closely with general managers, owners, designers, suppliers, housekeepers and developers through the entire process to help ensure success. Personalized attention and complete oversight of Furniture, Fixtures, & Equipment (FF&E) and Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E) Purchases.

Installation

The project is the most important thing to us and maintaining a solid relationship with our customers.  Our goal is to provide communication, professional handling and the understanding of all products to assure an aesthetically pleasing installation to reflect the desired image.  Our installers all have over 10 years experience in each trade which gives you an on-time in-budget service guaranteed quality installation.

OS&E and FF&E

OS&E stands for Operating Supplies and Equipment . It means the small equipment which is purchased and manufactured off site and in most cases it does not require any installation. In brief the term includes the hotel’s operating equipment such as chinaware, bed linen, silverware, uniforms, housekeeping equipment and engineering tools, all loose kitchen and laundry equipment and loose health club equipment.

The above does not include consumable supplies such as food, drink or paper products, wall coverings, hard floor finishes, wall tiling, plumbing fixtures such as faucets, washbasins, baths or wcs, built-in millwork such as the reception desk, PABX systems and handsets, or computer cabling. This falls under FF&E and construction.

FF&E stands for Furnishings, Fixtures and Equipment. A list of this is available from OSCI. In brief the term includes the hotels fixed kitchen and laundry equipment including cold rooms and kitchen hoods, fixed health club equipment, computers with their associated equipment and software, all loose furniture, decorative lighting, carpets, curtains and bed covers.

FF&E is specified by the interior designer utilizing customized designs, long lead times and requires project and installation planning.
OS&E is specified by the hotel or property management operator and is normally off the shelf, with shorter lead times and minimal installation comprising of a diverse range of products.
